Wuyt-art stands for the range of activities we organise involving the graphic art of Marc Chagall. Pieter Zuidema and Willemien Uyterlinde began to collect lithographs and etchings in the sixties. Their children played a gradually increasing part in building the collection, which currently includes several thousand graphic works by Chagall.
 
 
Documentation and research, occasional exhibitions (as far as the United States) and other activities concerning the graphic art of Marc Chagall evolved into an organisation in the nineties. This organisation needed an official status when, in 1999, we opened the Chagall gallery in our newly renovated house on Spiegelgracht.
 
 
Memberships

We are a member of numerous organisations and trade associations, among which:

  1. the VKCR (the Art and Culture Legal Association)
  2. the VOG (the association for Original Graphic Art)
  3. Amsterdam City
  4. the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce, registered under 33211161
